MEET CELESTE

My name is Celeste Tidwell, and I am running to serve as your next San Antonio City Councilwoman for District 9. I am a proud descendant of the Canary Islanders. My educational journey began at San Antonio College and continued at Temple University in Philadelphia where I studied Criminal Justice. Afterward, I returned to San Antonio and worked for Southwestern Bell as a directory assistance (411) operator for many years. I also dedicated my time to member services and community engagement at the Thousand Oaks YMCA, where I was an active volunteer in my community. My passion for community engagement led me to work as a District Aide for Texas House of Representatives, where I specialized in constituent services.
